Preventive vaccinations for dogs and cats against rabies

In order to prevent rabies in domestic animals, specialists from the Chuguyiv District Veterinary Medicine Department of the Kharkiv Regional State Hospital of Veterinary Medicine July 24, 26, 29, 2024 Preventive vaccinations of dogs and cats against rabies will be carried out in Chuguiv city at the address: 15 Oleksandra Zachepyla St., tel. Working hours: Mon-Thu from 8:00 to 16:45, Fri from 8:00 to 15:45, Sat-Sun - weekends.

Preventive vaccination will protect the animal from rabies infection for 1 year.

We emphasize: rabies is an extremely dangerous infectious disease common to humans and animals, accompanied by severe damage to the central nervous system and always ends in death.

To prevent rabies in animals, all pets must be vaccinated annually, starting at 3 months of age.

Remember: rabies cannot be cured, it can only be prevented! The most effective way is vaccination!

The rabies vaccine is free, the cost of the preventive vaccination service is 11.05 UAH.

Over the past week, specialists from district veterinary medicine departments in Chuguiv district immunized 194 pets against rabies, including 82 dogs and 112 cats.
