The forest fire danger period in the Kharkiv region is ongoing and will continue until the end of autumn. This period is especially dangerous for forest areas due to the high risk of fires.
According to statistics, 951% of all fires occur due to the fault of the population. Most often, this is due to burning dry grass near forests, carelessly thrown cigarette butts, or an unextinguished fire in the forest. All these actions are the causes of forest fires, which lead to significant material losses and cause irreparable harm to the ecosystem.
Foresters remind that during the fire danger period prohibited:
– making fires in the forest and forest belts;
– entry into the territory of the forest fund (except for transit routes) of vehicles and other mechanisms, except for those used for forestry activities;
– smoking, throwing unextinguished matches and cigarette butts in the forest and forest belts;
– leaving rags soaked in grease or other flammable substances in the forest;
– burn grass and other plant residues on forest lands, agricultural lands, as well as on other land plots directly adjacent to the forest.
It's dangerous to be in the forest these days, let alone to light a fire! Be careful! Protect the forest from fire!
