Born on 04.05.1983 in the city of Chuguiv. He studied at secondary school No. 5, graduating in 1998. In 2002, he graduated from the Chuguiv-Babchansky Forestry College with a degree in «Operation and Repair of Forest Complex Equipment» and obtained the qualification of a mechanic technician. In 2007, he graduated from the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with a degree in «Accounting and Audit» and obtained the qualification of an economist. After graduating, he worked in the bodies of the National Police in the city of Chuguiv and the city of Kharkiv. On the day of his death, he worked as an inspector of the response sector of the patrol police of the police department No. 1 of the Chuguiv district police department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region.

Circumstances of death:
On May 22, 2024, in the city of Vovchansk, Chuguyiv district, during the evacuation of the civilian population, the enemy pursued and shot at a police service car «Renault Duster» from an FPV drone. At that moment, there were two police officers in the car. Andriy Ladyka received injuries incompatible with life. His colleague, senior police lieutenant Dmytro Mozharovsky, was seriously injured.
He had awards: the Distinguished Service Medal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine - the Medal "For Conscientious Service of the 2nd Degree" and the Breastplate "Badge of Honor of the Main Police Department in the Kharkiv Region.".
Andriy Ladyka was buried on May 24, 2024 in the city of Chuguiv on the Alley of Memory with military honors.
