Currently, Ukraine does not have systematized up-to-date information on the functioning of companies producing building materials, finished products, building structures, auxiliary elements, and the management of waste from the dismantling of buildings and structures of all types. Such information is critically important both for participants in the Ukrainian construction market and for potential international investors who will participate in the large-scale reconstruction of our country's housing and industrial stock, infrastructure, and social facilities destroyed as a result of military operations. A significant part of foreign donor organizations, patrons, charitable foundations, and architectural and design institutions are not at all familiar with the capabilities of Ukrainian companies in this area and believe that for the reconstruction of Ukraine, building materials will have to be imported en masse.
The State Enterprise "State Research Institute of Building Structures" (hereinafter referred to as the State Research Institute of Building Structures) is working on the creation of the first system catalog of national manufacturers of building materials and products since 1991, commissioned by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) as part of a technical assistance project to Ukraine. The purpose of the work is to collect information about companies - manufacturers of building materials and products on the Ukrainian market, analyze the current work and prospects for participation in the reconstruction of the country. The catalog will cover the activities of enterprises/companies that extract building sand, crushed stone, manufacture concrete products (concrete products), building mixtures, ceramic bricks, plasterboard, basalt insulation, foam insulation, roofing (for roofs) materials and other building materials, windows and window systems and other building products.
We kindly ask you to assist in the work on creating the above-mentioned catalog and provide SE NIIBK with information in electronic form about the activities of your enterprise/company by filling out the questionnaire (attached), and also, if possible, to distribute this questionnaire as widely as possible for completion among other currently operating companies - manufacturers of building materials and products.
