Today, June 27, 2024, in Chuguiv, in a solemn atmosphere, the presentation of state awards to military personnel who showed courage and self-sacrifice in the defense of our state during the war in Ukraine took place. Deputy Head of the Chuguiv City Military Administration Igor Shepelev and Head of the Chuguiv RTCC and SP Oleksandr Kurychenkov presented the medals "For Wounds" and "Defender of the Fatherland" to the heroes who gave their strength and health for the peace and independence of our country.
By Order of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine dated July 4, 2023 No. 826, for personal courage and heroism, selfless actions in protecting the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, exemplary performance of military (official) duty in conditions associated with risk to life, the departmental award of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the medal "For Wounds", was awarded to MARSHAL Yuriy Ivanovych.
By Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 7 dated January 9, 2023, for personal courage and dedication shown in protecting the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and loyalty to the military oath, Serhiy Fedorovych BOCHARNIKOV was awarded the "Defender of the Fatherland" medal (the award was received by his brother's mother).
Deputy Head of the Chuguev City Military Administration Igor Shepelev expressed deep respect and gratitude to the awardees, emphasizing that their feat is undeniable proof of the indomitable spirit and patriotism of Ukrainian soldiers.
So let these awards become a symbol of our gratitude and respect for those who defend our Motherland, as well as the hope that peaceful life on our land will be restored as soon as possible.
