The generators and equipment were obtained thanks to fruitful cooperation with the German Foreign Ministry, the German Embassy in Kyiv, and the Federal Agency for Technical Assistance (THW), which have been assisting the Kharkiv region since the first days of the full-scale invasion.

This time, a large-scale batch of generators with a capacity of 20 to 200 kW, electricity distributors for them, sleeping bags, heat guns with components, "stoves", jackhammers and vibrating plates, network extension cords, etc. were transferred to the needs of the Kharkiv region. The first batch of generators was distributed between the Balakliysk, Chuhuyivsk, Pisochynsk and Bogodukhivsk territorial communities, as well as the Kharkiv heating networks.

«"We are grateful to our international partners for this significant assistance and attention to the needs of the deoccupied and affected settlements of the Kharkiv region. We will continue to work on the basis of the Regional Office for International Cooperation to ensure the vital activity of the region," said Yevhen Ivanov, Deputy Head of the Kharkiv Regional Office.

Generators will be used to power critical infrastructure in the event of a long-term power outage.
