This year it was dedicated to the anniversary of our famous compatriot Ilya Repin and was called «Bright Colors of the Poetic Palette.» And indeed, each work – whether poetic or prose – was full of bright colors, which we all lack so much in our everyday lives.
The awards to the winners of the literary competition were personally presented by the head of the Chuguiv city military administration, Galina Minaeva. She wrote in her Telegram channel:
– Today I had the pleasure of talking with our writers and poets during the solemn summing up of the results of the 16th literary competition within the framework of the "Lilac May" festival.
What talented people live in our community! I never cease to admire my fellow countrymen who successfully combine everyday worries: study, work, raising children - with creativity. Painting, music, needlework - wherever Chuguy residents are sure to achieve success.
I am very grateful to all our artists: both experienced and beginners – for their creativity, for their efforts to bring goodness and beauty to the world in these difficult times. I am proud to live among talented and extraordinary people in a city where only the air inspires creativity!

2nd place: Manko Yaroslav (10 years old, student of the Zarozhnensky Lyceum); Ovdienko Bohdan (10 years old, student of the Zarozhnensky Lyceum);
3rd place: Sukhinin Dmitry (17 years old, student of the Klugino-Bashkir Lyceum); Miroshnychenko Ksenia (17 years old, student of the Chuguyiv Lyceum No. 6).
«"PROSE – CHILDREN":
1st place: Bychkov Konstantin (15 years old, student of the Zarozhnensky Lyceum);
2nd place: Yaroslava Verkhoven (11 years old, student of the Zarozhnensky Lyceum); Nikita Verbytsky (16 years old, student of the Klugyno-Bashkyrivsky Lyceum);
3rd place: Chetveryakov Nikita (15 years old, student of the Chuguyiv Lyceum No. 7).
POETRY – ADULTS:
1st place: Volodymyr Mykolayovych Verkhoven (poet, translator, journalist, author of many collections of poems, books and a number of translations);
2nd place: Andreeva Valentina Grigorivna (director of the Kamyanoyaruz Lyceum, teacher of history and law);
3rd place: Yulia Olegovna Gorelkova (journalist).
The winner in the nomination «PROSE – ADULTS» was Nadiya Pavlovna Prologaeva (teacher of foreign literature at the Zarozhnensky Lyceum).
