Thanks to this decision, the average subsidy for the supply and distribution of electricity received by Kharkiv residents will increase from UAH 106 to UAH 530 per month, and benefits from UAH 74 to UAH 370.
There is no need to additionally apply for a recalculation of subsidies; the recalculation of the amount of subsidies and benefits for residents of Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region, who are subject to this Government decision, will be carried out automatically by the Pension Fund - the Government Portal reports.

Recalculation of subsidies and benefits for residents of Kharkiv and Kharkiv region in the non-heating season of 2024
The Government adopted the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 08.05.2024 No. 521 «Some issues of providing, calculating and paying housing subsidies and benefits to reimburse the costs of paying for housing and communal services, purchasing liquefied gas, solid and liquid household fuel, taking into account the energy crisis that has developed in the city of Kharkiv and settlements of the Kharkiv region», which amended some resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, in particular the Resolution of April 19, 2022 No. 462 «Some issues of providing benefits and housing subsidies under martial law», the Resolution of August 6, 2014 No. 409 «On establishing state social standards in the field of housing and communal services».
In accordance with subparagraph 6 of paragraph 3 of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated August 6, 2014 No. 409 «On the establishment of state social standards in the sphere of housing and communal services» for citizens who actually live in residential premises (houses) located in settlements of the Kharkiv region, to calculate the amount of the benefit or subsidy for payment for the supply and distribution of electricity during the non-heating season of 2024 (from May 1, 2024 to September 30, 2024), the following shall apply: social norms from by applying an increase factor of 5.

Changing the scope of social standards from by applying an increase factor of 5 for the services specified in the resolution will lead to an increase in the amount of the assigned subsidy and benefit in the non-heating period of 2024.
At the same time, the housing subsidy from May 1 to September 30, 2024 is provided if there is an agreement between the business entity providing a utility service to the consumer and the consumer of such service, regardless of the actual availability/absence of the service for reasons beyond the control of the consumer or the business entity providing the utility service to the consumer.
Subsidies transferred from May 1, 2024 will be paid to residents of the Kharkiv region in June, taking into account increased social standards.
