Heroes are not born. They are made.

Probably, each of us in childhood wants to be a hero. We dream of adventures, glory and exploits. We read about heroes in books or watch them in movies. However, not everyone in real life manages to see a real Hero and, even more so, to communicate with him in a relaxed atmosphere. However, high school students and teachers of one of the Chuguiv schools had such an opportunity today: they were visited by the Hero of Ukraine, the battalion commander of the legendary 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko, and from today also the Honorary Citizen of our community, Lieutenant Colonel Vasyl Bozhok.

With great interest, schoolchildren and their teachers listened to Vasyl Mykolayovych's story about the combat life of our military, asked questions about the peculiarities of using this or that weapon and, of course, about the feat for which he was awarded the highest award of our Motherland. Of particular interest to students and teachers were questions related to first aid in combat conditions, because schoolchildren study its basics in the lessons of the "Defense of Ukraine" course.

At the end of the meeting, the director of the Center for Tourism and Local Lore, Serhiy Lysenko, presented Vasyl Bozhko with useful gifts for our defenders – camouflage nets and robes, which the teachers and students of the Center make with their own hands and give to our soldiers.
