Each of these soldiers and officers made a personal contribution to the defense of our community from Russian invaders. Unfortunately, today's ceremony did not bring together all the awardees, as many of them are currently performing combat missions, and one - Hero of Ukraine Oleksiy Myrshavyy - has found eternal peace on the Alley of Memory of the Fallen Soldiers.
Addressing our defenders, the head of the city military administration, Galina Minaeva, expressed her deep gratitude to them for their heroism, thanks to which the residents of the Chuguiv community can live in their homes and fall asleep in their beds every night. Galina Mykolayivna expressed confidence that the day will soon come when the community will honor its honorary citizens not in a basement, but in the central square, where each of us will be able to honor their military feat.
After being presented with a diploma and a commemorative sign, all of the new Honorary Citizens present signed a special book. From now on, their names are inextricably and forever linked with the history of the Chuguiv community. With the history that they and their combat comrades are already making with their own hands today.
So, the title of "Honorary Citizen of the Chuguiv Urban Territorial Community" for special services to the Chuguiv Urban Territorial Community, courage and bravery shown in protecting the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine was awarded to:
- AGASIEV Kyryl Yashar Ogla – Senior Lieutenant, Commander of the Assault Platoon of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko, Hero of Ukraine;
- Vasyl Mykolayovych BOZHKA – Lieutenant Colonel, Commander of the 92nd Assault Battalion of the Separate Assault Brigade named after Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko, Hero of Ukraine;
- VERES Kyryl Kyrylovych – Lieutenant Colonel, Commander of the K-2 Battalion of the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa, Hero of Ukraine;
- VOROSHILOV Igor Serhiyovych – Lieutenant Colonel, Commander of the Military Unit of the Regional Directorate of the Territorial Defense Forces "East" of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- HROMADSKY Yevheniy Olehovych – captain, deputy commander of the military unit of the Central Operational-Territorial Unit of the National Guard of Ukraine, Hero of Ukraine;
- KOROBKA Volodymyr Viktorovych – Colonel, Chief of Staff of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko;
- KULAGIN Rodion Anatolyevich – Colonel, Chief of Artillery of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko, Hero of Ukraine;
- Oleksandr Yuriyovych LYASHENKA – captain, navigator-pilot of the helicopter unit of the 12th separate army aviation brigade named after Lieutenant General Viktor Pavlenko, Hero of Ukraine;
- MIRSHAVY Oleksiy Viktorovych (posthumously) – junior sergeant, commander of the 92nd mechanized battalion of the separate assault brigade named after Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko, Hero of Ukraine;
- NASTENKA Oleksandr Mykolayovych – captain, officer of the 92nd separate assault brigade named after Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko, Hero of Ukraine;
- CONGRATULATIONS to Yuriy Ivanovych – Lieutenant General, Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Hero of Ukraine;
- Fedoseenko Pavlo Yuriyovych – Colonel, Commander of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko, Hero of Ukraine;
- Andriy Yurievich TSARENKA – Lieutenant Colonel, Commander of the Reconnaissance Battalion, Hero of Ukraine.
