Born on August 19, 1967 in the city of Korosten, Zhytomyr region, lived in the city of Chuguiv. In 1984, he graduated from secondary school No. 5 in the city of Chuguiv. After military service, he worked at the Chuguiv Furniture Factory and studied in absentia at a higher educational institution. In 1995, he graduated from the State Mining Academy of Ukraine with a degree in “Technology and Techniques for Exploration of Mineral Deposits”. He received the qualification of a mining engineer specialist. After graduating from the academy, he worked in geological exploration, was an assistant to a machinist for geological works, and worked as a security guard in the “DARS” store. He served his military service from November 1985 to November 1987 as a radio operator in military unit 64306, which was stationed in the city of Sambir, Lviv region.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine, he, without hesitation, voluntarily went to defend the Motherland through the Chuguiv RTCC and the SP.

З початком повномасштабного вторгнення російських військ в Україну він не вагаючись, добровільно через Чугуївський РТЦК та СП пішов захищати Батьківщину.

He served in military service from early March 2022 to August 2022 in military unit 7291 as a rifleman in the 2nd rifle division of the 3rd rifle platoon of the 1st rifle company. He had a disability related to military service.

Військову службу проходив з початку березня 2022 по серпень 2022 у в/ч 7291 на посаді стрільця 2-го стрілецького відділення 3-го стрілецького взводу 1-ї стрілецької роти. Мав інвалідність, пов’язану з проходженням військової служби.

Parents died.

Civil wife: Poedyntseva Alla Nikolaevna, lived in a civil marriage for over 20 years. Left two daughters: Sektym Darya Arturovna, born in 1989, lives in the city of Chuguiv, and Sektym Tetyana Arturovna, born in 2005, lives in the city of Chuguiv.

Circumstances of death:

During the fighting in May 2022 near the village of Bazalievka, Chuguiv district, he was seriously wounded, but continued to perform his duties to defend the Motherland. After some time, he had a myocardial infarction and was sent to a hospital in the city of Kharkiv, and later transferred to the city of Poltava, where he was demobilized in August 2022 due to health reasons. He received the status of a person with disabilities. He was constantly ill, and in mid-December 2023 he was treated in the Chuguiv hospital, where he died of a myocardial infarction on 12/29/2023.

On December 30, 2024, he was buried in the city of Chuguev at the Preobrazhensky Cemetery.
