CITY OF KOŻENICE, REPUBLIC OF POLAND
The Memorandum of Understanding between the community of Chuguiv, Ukraine and the community of Kozienice, Poland was concluded on October 5, 2001.
Areas of cooperation, according to the concluded Memorandum:
1. Exchange of information about the city of Chuguiv in Poland and the city of Kozienice in Ukraine.
2. Cooperation between the city halls of Chuhuiv and Kozienice.
3. Promoting small business development between communities.
4. Holding joint sports events.
5. Cooperation on cultural exchange between art groups.
Support for all other proposals aimed at implementing the Memorandum.
On behalf of the Chuguiv territorial community, we express our sincere gratitude to the sister city of Kozhenitsy for the assistance provided in early 2023 in the form of equipment for the Indestructibility Points: generators, metal stoves of the "Borzhujka" type, tents, folding beds, bedding sets, thermoses, extension cords, gas heaters, gas cylinders and rechargeable lamps (www.facebook.com).
CITY OF STARJ SAŁCZ, REPUBLIC OF POLAND
The Treaty on Friendship, Partnership and Cooperation between the city of Chuhuiv, Kharkiv Region (Ukraine) and the city of Stary Sacz, Lesser Poland Voivodeship (Republic of Poland) was concluded on April 25, 2004.
Areas of cooperation, according to the concluded Memorandum:
1. Preservation of historical and cultural heritage and development of direct ties in the fields of culture, education, literature, art, science, healthcare, publishing, radio, television, tourism and sports.
2. Development of friendly relations between the youth of both countries.
3. Development of contacts in the field of sports and tourism.
CITY OF WILMINGTON CINCINNATI REGION, STATE OF OHIO (USA)
The Memorandum of Understanding between the city of Chuguiv, Kharkiv region (Ukraine) and the city of Wilmington, Cincinnati region, Ohio (USA) “Twinning Agreement” was concluded on October 19, 2013.
The Memorandum of Understanding envisages the following tasks:
1. Exchange of information on best practices of local self-government and involvement of representatives of civil society institutions in local development management.
2. Promoting friendly relations between the population of Chuguev and Wilmington, public organizations, and members of youth, sports, and cultural associations.
3. Placing information about the history, traditions, and socio-cultural life of the partner city in the media of Chuguev and Wilmington.
4. Organization of exchange of delegations of residents of territorial communities of twin cities in order to study the best practices of local self-government and the development of socio-economic infrastructure of communities.
KULDIĖ REGION (LATVIA)
The Memorandum of Cooperation between Kuldiga Region (Latvia) and Chuguiv Territorial Community (Ukraine) was signed on December 14, 2021.
The objectives of the Memorandum are to establish and develop relations in the following areas:
1. Culture and art.
2. Digitalization and innovative technologies.
3. Business, investment and other types of economic cooperation.
CLEARFIELD CITY, UTAH, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
The Agreement between the Chuguiv Urban Territorial Community of the Chuguiv District of the Kharkiv Region, Ukraine and the City of Clearfield, Utah, United States of America (on the establishment of twinning relations) was concluded on November 1, 2023.
Priority areas for enhanced cooperation have been jointly identified in the research, development and commercialization sectors of sustainable technologies, including but not limited to:
1. Clean energy.
2. Agro-innovations.
3. Agricultural machinery and equipment.
4. Sustainable bioeconomy.
5. Digital technologies.
Participants seek to develop and implement specific projects that bring mutual benefits to the Chuguiv Urban Territorial Community and the city of Clearfield, Utah, while contributing to the reconstruction of the Chuguiv Urban Territorial Community based on the principles of safety, environmental compliance, comfort, inclusivity, energy efficiency, and technological feasibility.
CITY OF DANDERYD, SWEDEN
Memorandum of Cooperation between Chuguiv Urban Territorial Community of Chuguiv District, Kharkiv Region, Ukraine and Danderyd Municipality, Sweden, concluded on May 21, 2025.
The main goal is to create long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation, which includes the exchange of experience, knowledge and best practices in various fields, including, but not limited to:
- Urban development and planning: exchange of experience in urban development, infrastructure modernization and spatial planning.
- Social services and community development: effective service delivery, community engagement, improving quality of life.
- Environmental sustainability: joint projects on environmental protection, energy efficiency and waste management.
- Culture and education: cultural and educational exchanges, joint initiatives.
- Innovation: exchange of experience in the field of digitalization and new technologies.
- Crisis response and community resilience: Ukrainian experience in responding to crisis situations gained in response to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
- Health and safety: cooperation in the field of health care, safety, and public awareness.
- Economy and trade: development of entrepreneurship, investment, tourism and international cooperation.

CITY OF NORDHORN, GERMANY CITY OF COEVORDEN, NETHERLANDS
The Tripartite Partnership Agreement between the Chuguiv Urban Territorial Community of the Chuguiv District of the Kharkiv Region, Ukraine, the City of Nordhorn, Germany, and the Municipality of Coowarden, the Netherlands was concluded on June 17, 2025.
The main goal of the tripartite partnership is to provide support to the Chuguiv Urban Territorial Community from the Municipality of Coowarden and the City of Nordhorn, which can be demonstrated in the form of:
- Humanitarian assistance and exchange of knowledge and experience to support the reconstruction of the city of Chuhuiv.
- Mutual visits of delegations of municipalities, organizations and associations.
- Student exchange and other interaction between young people.
