Born on July 12, 1994 in Chuguiv, Kharkiv region. From 1st to 9th grade he studied at secondary school No. 1 of the Chuguiv city council. In 2013 he graduated from technical school and entered the correspondence department of the institute. He was involved in sports and tourism, was a member of the Kharkiv region team, and a participant in the All-Ukrainian competitions in TPT (hiking tourism technique).

Since 2013, he has served under contract as a senior self-propelled gunner in the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. He participated in combat operations in the ATO zone in eastern Ukraine.
Circumstances of death:
On August 28, 2014, Ruslan was part of the company-tactical group of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade, which advanced to the Starobeshevo area to unblock Ukrainian units in Ilovaisk. 5 km east of the city of Komsomolske (Donetsk region), in the area of the Avangard agricultural company, the column came under massive fire from Russian troops with Grad MLRS, mortars and tanks. As a self-propelled gunner, Ruslan took command of the installation during the battle and fired to the last man. During the shelling and in the battle with the enemy, the brigade suffered casualties. According to Brigadier General Viktor Nikoliuk, as of September 2, 9 servicemen had not been contacted. The fighters were considered missing. But as it later became known, Russian armed forces buried the dead Ukrainian soldiers near the battlefield.
On September 16, searchers from the Union "Narodna Pamyat" exhumed 8 bodies of fallen soldiers in a mass grave near the village of Novozarievka, Starobeshevsky district. Not far from the city of Zaporizhzhia, the Kushugum cemetery was created with an unidentified defender of Ukraine. During search operations on September 27, 2014, one of the leaders of the volunteer groups of the "Evacuation 200" mission, Pavlo Netyosov, found the remains of an unknown soldier's foot, and since Ruslan was seen on the battlefield with a head wound, unconscious, it was assumed that these remains belonged to him. Thanks to the appeal to Pavel Netiosov in November 2018 by Ruslan Deineko's mother, in January 2019 Ruslan Deineko was identified by DNA examination among the unknown heroes of the ATO buried at the Kushugum cemetery near Zaporizhia (burial number 4055).

Thus, it was established that Ruslan died near the village of Voykove, Starobeshiv district, Donetsk region, at 4 am on August 28, 2014. Ruslan was reburied on March 6, 2019 at Chuguyiv cemetery No. 5.
His portrait is placed on the memorial "Wall of Memory of Those Who Fell for Ukraine" in Kyiv: section 3, row 5, seat 19.
By Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 537/2020 of December 4, 2020, "for personal merits in strengthening the defense capability of the Ukrainian state, courage and selfless actions shown in protecting the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, exemplary performance of military duty", he was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd degree (posthumously).
