In his Telegram channel, the head of the Chuguiv city military administration reported:
– The Chuhuyiv community has been a participant in the Decentralization Brings Better Results and Efficiency (DOBRE) Program since December 2022. Over the past year and a half that we have been participants in the Program, we have already managed not only to strengthen the material and technical base of municipal enterprises and institutions, but also to form a strategic vision for the restoration of the Chuhuyiv community through cooperation on the preparation of the Comprehensive Restoration Program for the Territory.
At the implementation stage, a project on local economic development (construction of shopping pavilions in the village of Kochetok), a project to support the Comprehensive Restoration Program (equipping the Chuguyiv Municipal Complex with modern equipment for maintaining roads and sidewalks) and the development of a Comprehensive Spatial Development Plan are underway.
On April 3, the communities participating in the Program presented their own intermunicipal cooperation projects with the aim of finding funding for their implementation.
The Chuguiv community presented two projects prepared jointly with the Novopokrovska, Chkalovska and Pechenizka communities. The goal of the first project is to equip our hospital with modern rehabilitation equipment. It goes without saying how important it is today to provide residents who were injured as a result of Russian armed aggression with the opportunity to receive high-quality rehabilitation services.
Another project is designed to help more children with disabilities and at-risk children benefit from the rehabilitation services provided by our rehabilitation center «SHANS». To this end, the project envisages equipping «SHANS» with a vehicle specially equipped for transporting children with disabilities, the availability of which would open up the possibility of organizing their transportation to the institution.
I would like to thank the leadership of the Novopokrovska, Chkalovsk, and Pecheniz communities for supporting our initiatives. I am confident that in the near future, with the support of our international partners, we will be able to implement them.
