Head of Chuhuiv MVA Halyna Minaeva – about the situation in the community as of March 22

Dear community! Today's alarming morning has become one of those for which we have been consistently and systematically preparing recently. The enemy will once again test our strength with his bombs and missiles. However, this time he will not be able to break us and intimidate us.

The current situation is as follows. As a result of the missile attacks, the power system of Ukraine and, as a part of it, the power system of the Kharkiv region were damaged. The disconnection of the settlements of the community occurred automatically, without human intervention. Currently, energy workers are doing everything possible to restore power supply as soon as possible. There are already first successes. In particular, electricity has been supplied to the Kochetok water treatment complex. So, the filling of water supply networks is currently underway, and in the near future, water supply to Chuguev will be fully restored.

The situation is somewhat more complicated now in Klugino-Bashkyrivka, where due to the lack of electricity we have problems not only with water but also with heat supply. Currently, all relevant services are working to start generators at the infrastructure facilities of this microdistrict. We have the necessary fuel supply. For now, we plan to supply water and heat to Klugino-Bashkyrivka according to the schedule.

As for the rural settlements of the community, there is also no electricity and partially no water supply. In Zarozhne and Velyka Babka, work is underway to fill the water towers with generators. In Kam'yana Yaruz, as in the city, water supply will be restored after the networks of the “Dinets” water supply company are filled.

Currently, there are five power points in the city, where residents can charge their gadgets and connect to the Internet. Such a point also operates in a kindergarten in Klugino-Bashkyrivka. So, there is no reason for despair and panic. All communal services of the community are working at full capacity. The hospital and other vital institutions are operating normally.

We just need to be a little patient and wait for our selfless and heroic energy workers to eliminate the consequences of enemy shelling.

Thank you very much for your understanding and courage, my dear fellow countrymen.

Galina Minaeva, head of the Chuguev city military administration.
