Chuguiv Region Police Quickly Find Missing Child

For more than a day, a 13-year-old schoolgirl did not inform her parents about her whereabouts and did not answer their calls. After receiving a report of the child's disappearance, police officers searched for the girl within several hours and returned her home. The girl was with her friend.

On March 10, at around 12:00, a local resident contacted the Chuguiv District Police Department. She reported that her 13-year-old daughter had disappeared. The woman said that the girl left home on March 9 and did not return, and was not answering her phone calls.

Juvenile prevention inspectors, together with detectives, worked through the circle of acquaintances of the missing girl and established that she may be staying with her friend. Police officers found the wanted person at the guy's address. No criminal incidents occurred with her. The girl was returned home.

Juvenile prevention inspectors of the Chuguiv District Police Department held a preventive conversation with the minor and her mother to prevent such incidents in the future.
