Representatives of the fund have been helping Ukrainians since 2014. Currently, in the Kharkiv region, the fund has managed to carry out prompt repairs to over 100 private residential buildings in Tsyrkuny, Ruske Tyshky, and Zmiiv. They have also replaced broken windows in over a hundred apartments in the Saltivskyi district of Kharkiv.
«"Restoration of housing infrastructure is one of the priority areas of our work. International partners provide effective assistance in the repair of damaged private and apartment buildings. We are identifying communities in which the Center will begin restoration work this year. In the future, we will continue communication based on the Regional Office for International Cooperation," said Yevhen Ivanov.
The Polish Center for International Assistance also plans to begin restoration work at medical facilities, educational institutions, and to provide ASCs with a barrier-free environment.
«"We are working on developing a profile program that should be launched this year. It is planned to restore damaged outpatient clinics, individual departments, repair and arrange shelters in educational institutions to launch offline education. A separate direction is to provide social facilities with everything necessary to receive people with disabilities," said Michal Kulpinsky, Deputy Head of the Mission in Ukraine.
In addition, the organization will continue to assist residents of remote and deoccupied settlements with humanitarian assistance.
«"We plan to focus on those settlements where the infrastructure is damaged and there are no shops. First of all, the direction of humanitarian aid will include hygiene kits for people with limited mobility," said Anna Radetska, head of the mission in Ukraine.
