So another season of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiads has ended, which for the second year in a row was held in extremely difficult wartime conditions. Despite the fact that the educational process in the Chuguiv community this school year is organized in a distance format, prolonged «air alarms», constant experiences, students and teachers of our institutions found the resource to prepare and test their strength in the III (regional) stage of the Student Olympiads in educational subjects. We can only imagine what titanic efforts the preparation stage itself, which was also online, required.
Students from our community always perform well at the regional stage, and this year was no exception. In the 2023/2024 academic year, 27 students from Chuguiv MTG participated. 13 people, which makes up 48%, became winners.
The qualitative indicators of the results have improved significantly, because, imagine, the participants won three first places, six second places, and four third places.
The largest number of prize places (five) were won by students of the Chuguyiv Lyceum No. 2, namely: two places for 11th grade student Panova Sofia (I, II), one each for 9th grade student Garagaty Anton (I), 10th grade student Zhalkovsky Roman (III), and 11th grade student Batchenko Daryna (II).
Not far behind is the Chuguyiv Lyceum No. 6 school: three students became winners. These are ninth-graders Posokhova Ksenia (II), Morozova Anastasia (III), and graduate Vladimirov Nikita (III).

One victory each was won by: Sereda Oleksandra, a 10th grade student of the Chuguyiv Lyceum No. 8 (III), Verbytskyi Nikita, a 9th grade student of the Klugyno-Bashkyriv Lyceum (II), and Andrusenko Elizaveta, an eighth grade student of the Velikobabchansky Lyceum (II).
Their wise mentors also contributed to the success of our young stars. Thus, the winners were prepared by:
– history and law teachers Yevhenia Bondarenko (KZ "Chuguyiv Lyceum No. 1") and Yulia Zhiglova (KZ "Kluhyno-Bashkyriv Lyceum");
– ecology teachers Olga Serik (KZ "Chuguyiv Lyceum No. 2") and Zvyagintseva Kateryna (KZ "Chuguyiv Lyceum No. 1");
-English and German teachers Natalia Cheremisova (KZ "Chuguyiv Lyceum No. 2") and Olena Kucheryavenko (KZ "Chuguyiv Lyceum No. 6");
– computer science teacher Maria Maslova (Velykobabchansky Lyceum);
– geography teacher Maryna Shomina (KZ "Chuguyiv Lyceum No. 6");
– chemistry teacher Olga Vetchynkina (KZ "Chuguyiv Lyceum No. 8");
– labor training teacher Iryna Churayeva (KZ "Chuguyiv Lyceum No. 2").
You are our intellectual elite, the future of our state is yours. After all, it is for the sake of children that each of us does everything possible to bring the desired Victory closer as soon as possible. Our boy-defenders are fighting the enemy so that children have a happy childhood, receive knowledge and develop.
