Farewell to the fallen Hero took place in Chuhuiv on February 26
Anton Bolsun was born in Chuguiv on January 6, 1988, graduated from Chuguiv School No. 8 in 2005, his family currently lives in the city, he has many friends and acquaintances here. The news of Anton's death deeply hurt the hearts of everyone who knew him, and enveloped the entire Chuguiv community in grief.
Recently, Anton Bolsun served in the air defense unit of the border guards in the Kharkiv region, working with a portable anti-aircraft missile system. Previously, he served in units that participated in the counter-offensive operation to liberate the Kharkiv region in the fall of 2022. Then he participated in battles in the Bakhmut direction as a specialist in electronic warfare and anti-drone work.
After three months of fierce fighting in the Bakhmut direction, the unit in which Anton served was withdrawn to the Kharkiv region. On February 21, 2024, the border guard died as a result of mortar shelling by the occupiers.
Anton Bolsun was buried on February 26 with military honors at the "Memory Alley" in Chuguiv.
