The closing of the 26th International Repin Plein Air was not the only artistic event with which the Chuguiv community honored the birthday of its outstanding compatriot Ilya Repin. It is especially pleasing that modern Chuguiv artists, talented inheritors of the artistic traditions initiated by the great master, actively participated in the celebration.
In the morning, an exhibition of works by our compatriots opened at Art Alley. Thirteen artists – of different ages, with their own creative style and vision of the world – presented their paintings to the people of Chugui. Among them were both new works created during the Repin Plein Air and canvases painted earlier.
This exhibition became a sincere story about the creative path of our artists and a kind of summary of their recent work.
Each picture contains a special mood, the beauty of the native land, the light of the human soul, and the love of life. This is a world in which there is no place for war, but rather hope, harmony, and faith in a peaceful future.
