The car accident occurred on June 30 at around 7:35 p.m. in the city of Chuguiv.
It has been previously determined that a 45-year-old driver of a Toyota collided with a Mustang motorcycle driven by a 16-year-old boy. The underage motorcyclist received injuries and was hospitalized in a medical facility in Kharkiv.
Based on the above fact, investigators have opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (violation of road traffic safety rules or transport operation by persons driving vehicles) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The Chuguiv Region Police once again urges underage drivers of two-wheeled vehicles and their parents to strictly follow traffic rules. Road safety depends on everyone's responsibility, so do not neglect the use of protective equipment and helmets, which save lives.
