
Today, July 1, a working meeting with specialists from the Department of Social Protection of the Population of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration took place in the Chuhuyiv community. The event was held as part of the "Strength in Support" initiative, launched on behalf of the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov.
During the meeting, representatives of the Chuhuiv RVA, specialized community services, the Department of Social Protection of the Population of the KHOVA, the Children's Service of the KHOVA, and the Kharkiv Regional Center for Social Services discussed current issues of providing social services to residents of the Chuhuiv community and internally displaced persons.
Particular attention was paid to improving the quality of social support for vulnerable categories of the population, improving interaction between responsible services, timely identification of people's needs and ensuring a prompt response to them. Further steps were also outlined to develop partnership programs that will allow attracting additional resources to support community residents.
A separate area of discussion was the expansion of the range of social services and increased support for children, families, internally displaced persons, war veterans, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
– Social policy has been and remains one of the key priorities in the work of the Chuguiv City Council. Our goal is to make the social protection system as accessible, effective and focused on the needs of each resident as possible.
