Last week, the head of the Chuguiv city military administration, Halyna Minaeva, visited the Republic of Poland at the invitation of the mayor of the Kozienice commune, Mariusz Pravda. The visit took place as part of participation in an international conference and became an important opportunity to strengthen partnership relations between the Chuguiv community and the Kozienice commune.
During the working meetings, the parties discussed the further development of cooperation and the implementation of joint initiatives. In particular, the possibility of organizing a short-term vacation for children from the Chuhuiv community in Poland was discussed, as well as the preparation of international projects that can be implemented with the support of European partners.
Halyna Minaeva emphasized that the partnership with the Kozienice commune has practical significance and has already demonstrated its effectiveness. Thus, in 2023, the Polish community provided humanitarian assistance to Chuhuyiv for the arrangement of shelters and Invincibility Points. Among the transferred equipment are generators, stoves, heaters, thermoses and gas cylinders, which helped ensure the operation of critical population support facilities during the period of massive attacks on energy infrastructure.
The head of the MVA thanked the mayor Mariusz Prawda and the team of the Kozienice commune for the warm welcome, openness to cooperation and comprehensive support. She also noted that all expenses related to her stay in Poland were covered by the host party.
Following the visit, the parties expressed confidence that the agreements reached will contribute to the implementation of new joint projects and the further strengthening of friendly relations between the communities.
