This year, the competition was held under the symbolic name "Happiness Drawn by the Heart." Its main goal is to provide psychological support to children and their families who have suffered from the consequences of war, develop the creative potential of young talents, and foster love for the Motherland, native land, Ukrainian traditions, and cultural heritage.
Children from three age categories took part in the competition – from 5 to 16 years old. They presented their works in the categories «Fine Arts» and «Decorative and Applied Arts».
In total, representatives of educational and cultural institutions of the Chuhuiv community submitted 47 creative works for the jury's consideration.
Based on the evaluation results, 18 winners were identified, who received diplomas and gift certificates to purchase materials for the further development of their creative abilities.
The awards were presented to the young artists by Deputy Mayor and Executive Committee Manager Lyudmila Makarenko. She congratulated the children on their well-deserved awards and thanked their parents and teachers for supporting their talents.
«"The Chuguiv region has always been famous for its artistic traditions and outstanding masters. Today's young talents worthily continue the creative legacy of Ilya Repin and many other artists whose names have glorified our region. It is thanks to such children that the artistic glory of the Chuguiv region lives and multiplies," noted Lyudmila Makarenko.
The works that took first place will represent the Chuhuiv community at the regional stage of the "Thriving Ukraine" festival-competition, which will be held in the Kharkiv region from September to November 2026.
