
The "My Energy Independence" program from Oschadbank is a state interest-free loan for individuals for the purchase and installation of alternative energy sources. The client pays only the loan principal, as the interest rate of up to 0.1% per annum is fully compensated by the state.
Key lending terms
• Loan amount: from 100,000 to 480,000 hryvnias.
• Term: up to 10 years (120 months).
• Interest rate: 0% per annum subject to intended use.
• One-time fee: 1.51% of the loan amount.
• Repayment: monthly in equal installments (classic scheme).
• Collateral: Property collateral is usually not required.
What can you spend money on?
The loan is strictly targeted. Funds are allocated exclusively for the purchase and installation of equipment with a capacity of up to 10 kW for a private home:
• Hybrid inverters
• Solar panels
• Rechargeable batteries of various types
• Wind power plants
• Related equipment and services for solar power/wind power installation
Main requirements for the borrower
• Owning a residential building with a total area of up to 250 sq. m.
• Having an open personal account with an electricity supplier.
• Official income: the average monthly total family income for the last six months should not exceed ten times the average salary in Ukraine.
• Mandatory confirmation: within 180 days from the date of receipt of funds, it is necessary to provide the bank with certificates of purchase and commissioning of the equipment.
How to apply for a loan
1. Collection of documents: passport, TIN, income certificate for 6 months, documents proving ownership of the house and invoice from the equipment supplier.
2. Submitting an application: contact the nearest branch. To save time, you can use the Electronic Queue service via a mobile application or website.
3. Receipt and report: after approval, the bank transfers the funds to the equipment seller. After installation, the client reports with acts of work performed.
