On Vyshyvanka Day, the library branch became a center of creativity, unity, and preservation of Ukrainian traditions. Despite the difficult realities of wartime, an exhibition of creative works by local craftswomen living in this neighborhood was opened here.
The exhibition brought together works of various techniques and moods - from painting to decorative products: oil paintings, embroidery, cross-stitch paintings, beadwork, diamond mosaic, motanka dolls and other creative works, into which the authors invested their skill, love for their native culture and a piece of their soul. Each work became an example of how art helps to maintain inner strength, inspiration and faith even in difficult times.
A special atmosphere of the event was created by a photo zone decorated with Ukrainian towels - symbols of family comfort, memory of generations, and national identity. Visitors eagerly took photos to commemorate the event.
The highlight of the holiday was the fashion show in embroidered clothes, which was held by the library staff. Colorful ornaments, traditional Ukrainian motifs, and sincere smiles created a special mood and reminded of the power of Ukrainian culture, which unites people even during war.
The Deputy Mayor - Executive Committee Manager Lyudmila Makarenko addressed those present at the opening of the exhibition. She congratulated the event participants on Vyshyvanka Day, thanked local craftsmen for preserving Ukrainian traditions, and emphasized the importance of such events that unite the community, support cultural heritage, and strengthen faith in the future of Ukraine.
The organizers of the event note that such events not only introduce residents to the creative talents of the community, but also give people lively communication, support, and a sense of unity, which are of particular value today.
