
Currently, 374 citizens have contacted the weapons control sector of the Chuguiv region police, who declared 374 weapons and over 272 thousand rounds of ammunition during the campaign, including: 314 assault rifles, 16 carbines, 4 pistols, and 40 smoothbore weapons.
To declare, you must contact the nearest police department or call the hotline 102, have your passport and identification code with you, and write an appropriate statement. After that, the licensing system specialists will inspect and record the weapon.
The police remind that voluntary declaration exempts citizens from criminal liability for illegal possession of weapons. At the same time, declared weapons are allowed only for storage during the period of martial law. It is prohibited to use, transfer or sell them, and illegal storage poses a threat to people's lives and health.
The police urge citizens to be responsible and comply with legal requirements, because declaring weapons is a guarantee of everyone's safety.
