With the arrival of spring and warmer weather, law enforcement officers are recording an increase in the number of thefts from private homes and apartments. Criminals are actively looking for easy prey, especially in homes where there is no reliable protection.
To protect your property and the property of your neighbors, we recommend that you immediately take measures to strengthen your home security:
- Install a modern security alarm system with an output to a centralized monitoring console
- Install reliable entrance doors with reinforced construction and high-quality locks
- Equip apartments and houses with surveillance cameras
- Install intercoms and code locks on the entrances of apartment buildings
- Do not leave windows open unattended, especially on lower floors.
- Do not disclose information about being away from home for a long time on social media.
Remember: most thefts occur precisely because of the owners' insecurity and lack of basic protection.
We ask all residents to take this issue responsibly. The better protected your home is, the less chance criminals have.
