Participants of the "Young Malevich" competition were honored in the Chuhuiv community«

Today, February 27, with the support of the Education Department of the Chuguiv City Council, the winners and participants of the "Young Malevich" competition were awarded, organized by the Corps for the Development of Ukrainian Culture of the Scientific Society of Students, Postgraduate Students, Doctoral Candidates and Young Scientists of the Odesa Polytechnic National University together with the Cultural Landing of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Kostya Hordienko.

According to the decision of the Competition jury, the winners in the "Best Drawing" nomination were:

  • First place — Malyavina Alina,
  • Second place — Alarm clock Melania,
  • Third place — Sofia Oleksiyevets.

The winners of the age categories were:

Melnichenko Nikoletta, Mokritska Ksenia, Kashyryna Polina, Voloshko Maria, Kolomiets Lydia, Ivanisenko Veronika, Yakovleva Arina, Sugonyako Angelina, Mokritska Varvara, Tkachenko Mark, Pylypenko Nicole, Kushnaryova Myroslava, Stetsyuk Mirra, Vynnychenko Kateryna, Ernest Mytsyk, Fedoruk Darya, Demyanchuk Sofia, Soroka Maria, Kristina Buriak, Melnichenko Yulia.

The following participants were also awarded with special awards:

The competition was held to support children's creativity and artistic self-expression; honor the figure of Kazimir Malevich, a world-class Ukrainian artist-innovator, author of the legendary "Black Square"; build respect for Ukrainian art and contemporary cultural values; encourage children to experiment with color, form, and composition in the spirit of freedom symbolized by Malevich's work.

In total, 35 authors from Kharkiv, Sumy, Odessa, Lviv, Kyiv and Vinnytsia regions took part in the competition., demonstrating a high level of creativity and diverse approaches to artistic expression.
