Pensioners and recipients of insurance payments who are temporarily abroad or living in temporarily occupied territories must undergo physical identification by December 31. This was reported by the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine.
This is a requirement of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated February 11, 2025 No. 299 and is a mandatory condition for further receipt of pensions and insurance benefits.
The easiest way to pass identification online, without visiting institutions and without additional devices - through the mobile application "Pension Fund of Ukraine" using Action.Signature.
All you need:
- smartphone;
- the "Pension Fund of Ukraine" application has been installed and updated;
- access to the camera.
How to pass physical identification: step by step
- Step 1. Install or update the Pension Fund of Ukraine application on your smartphone.
- Step 2. Open the application and select "Log in with Action.Signature".
- Step 3. Confirm the authorization request via Action.Signature by clicking "Confirm".
- Step 4. Activate Action.Signature (if not already activated) by moving the slider to the right. Before doing so, read the application for joining the electronic trust services agreement.
- Step 5. Grant the Action app access to the camera and allow it to take photos and videos.
- Step 6. Complete photo identification – follow the prompts on the screen.
- Step 7. After successful verification, create a five-digit code for Action.Signature (if not created before) and click "Next".
- Step 8. Enter this code in the window that opens.
- Step 9. Send an authorization request to the Pension Fund of Ukraine and enter the code again.
- Step 10. After confirmation, click "Thank you" - you will automatically log in to the application as an authorized user.
The entire procedure takes a few minutes and allows you to instantly pass physical identification without queues and visiting institutions.
After a while, you can check the status:
- in the "Pension Fund of Ukraine" application;
- in the "My Identification" service on the Pension Fund's web portal.
