On the eve of a great holiday for our country - the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - the Chuguiv community honored people who literally carried the burden of the current war on their shoulders - veterans.
In the small, in the scale of world history, biography of our state, there was no tragedy more terrible than the Russian invasion. In fact, it affected to one degree or another the vast majority of Ukrainian families. And therefore, there will be hundreds of thousands of veterans of this war. And now every community, each of us must think about how and with what we can help our defenders return to a peaceful life in the future.
This was the topic of frank discussion at the meeting held on the eve of the Armed Forces Day of Ukraine.
Practical psychologists, representatives of social protection institutions, and veteran assistants told the participants about the services that yesterday's soldiers can receive in our community. In particular, they talked about sanatorium and resort treatment, medical care, psychological support, the possibility of re-equipping housing for the needs of people with amputees, the prospects for creating a veteran's space, etc.
Addressing the veterans, Deputy Mayor - Head of the Executive Committee, Lyudmila Makarenko, thanked them for their selfless defense of the Fatherland and invited them to use all the locations created in the Chuhuiv community for the rehabilitation of defenders.
We join in congratulating our heroes and, together with all our fellow countrymen, thank them for the opportunity to live in their homes.
