An important social event was held in the Chuhuyiv urban community, organized by the public organization "Girls" on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities and as part of an all-Ukrainian campaign aimed at responding to and preventing gender-based violence.
The goal of the event was to draw the attention of community residents to the rights, needs, and challenges faced by people with disabilities, as well as to raise awareness about mechanisms for assisting victims of violence.
Representatives of the NGO "Girls" emphasized that the formation of a safe environment based on respect, tolerance, and equal opportunities is an indispensable condition for community development.
During the event, special attention was paid to the issues of emotional support, inclusivity, as well as the importance of timely response in cases of domestic and gender-based violence.
Participants had the opportunity to receive consultations, useful information materials, and communicate with the organization's specialists.
