On November 21, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Dignity and Freedom, a day that will forever go down in the history of our people as a symbol of indomitability, courage, and the desire for a better future.
In 2013, on Independence Square, Ukrainians made a decisive statement: we choose dignity, freedom, and the European path of development. Those events marked the beginning of the Revolution of Dignity, which changed not only the course of Ukrainian history, but also the fate of each of us.
Today, in a time of full-scale war, we continue to defend the same values that we stood for on Maidan: freedom, independence, the right to live in our own country under our own laws. Every day, our Defenders on the front lines, volunteers, medics, teachers, and critical infrastructure workers prove that the spirit of Maidan is alive.
The Chuhuiv community, experiencing shelling and the pain of loss, knows the price of freedom like no other. We are proud of our soldiers who liberated our native land in the spring of 2022, and we bow our heads to all who gave their lives for Ukraine.
On this day, let us remember with gratitude those who took to the square 12 years ago, and those who today stand with weapons in their hands to defend our state.
Let the Day of Dignity and Freedom remind us: only together, with faith in our own strength and love for Ukraine, are we able to overcome any enemy and build a strong, prosperous state.
Glory to the Heroes of the Revolution of Dignity!
Glory to the Defenders of Ukraine! Glory to Ukraine!
