On October 29, 2025, the Chuhuyiv community said goodbye with sadness and respect to the defender of Ukraine - senior soldier Vyacheslav Sharypov, who gave his life defending the Motherland from Russian aggression.
A 29-year-old border guard soldier died on October 23, 2025 in the area of the village of Buzove, Vovchansky community, Chuhuiv district, while carrying out measures necessary to ensure the defense of Ukraine, courageously fulfilling his military duty.
The defender of Ukraine was buried on the Alley of Memory in Chuhuiv with full military honors.
