On October 22, 2025, the opening of the exhibition "COLORS OF TIME: A CITY THAT WE CREATE TOGETHER" took place in the city of Chyhyryn at the Bohdan Khmelnytsky Museum, which presented the works of participants of the XXV International Repin Plein Air (Chuhuiv, Kharkiv region).

The exhibition is taking place within the framework of the national project "Side by Side: United Communities", which unites home-based partner communities with front-line outpost communities for their support and restoration. It was launched in 2023, when 12 regions of Ukraine united to help rebuild the deoccupied Kherson region. At the end of 2024, this initiative grew into a national project to strengthen interaction between communities across Ukraine.

In July of this year, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Chyhyrynsk TG and the Chuhuyiv TG.

The city of Chuguiv is the birthplace of the outstanding artist Ilya Repin. Since 2000, the International Repin Plein Air has been held annually in Chuguiv, which brought together artists from Ukraine and abroad. Three years ago, with the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, the plein air received a new format - online. The project became a symbol of the invincibility of Ukrainian culture, a living dialogue of art that overcomes borders and unites hearts.

This year's anniversary XXV plein air was held under the title "Colors of Time: A City We Create Together." Its participants - 31 artists from different cities of Ukraine, as well as from Poland, Germany, China, and Sweden - were supposed to paint the city of Chuguiv and its landscapes.

The final exhibition was presented in Chuhuiv on August 5, 2025, on the birthday of I.Yu. Repin. Then the exhibition traveled to various cities of Ukraine. It visited the city of Zvyahel (Zhytomyr region), the city of Vinnytsia and the city of Illintsi (Vinnytsia region), the city of Fastiv (Kyiv region), the city of Vynohradiv (Zakarpattia region).

Starting today, the exhibition can be seen by residents of Chyhyryn and guests of the city. The opening was attended by Chyhyryn Mayor Viktor Kharchenko, Deputy Mayor of Chuguiv Lyudmila Makarenko, and Director of the municipal institution "Cultural Center "Image" Yana Vashchuk.

The exhibition presents 32 works that introduce us to the indomitable Chuguev, its monuments, nature, and reflect its beauty, strength, and spirit.
