Despite the difficult economic situation caused by the war, the Chuguiv City Military Administration and the Chuguiv City Council continue to systematically solve the problems of remote microdistricts of the community. Domestic and international partners are actively involved in this work. Among them are the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Angels of Salvation charity fund, together with which a housing construction project for internally displaced persons in the Druzhba microdistrict is currently being implemented.
The head of the Chuguiv city military administration, Galina Minaeva, noted that the use of the term "construction" is quite appropriate, because one of the two presented rooms was actually rebuilt from scratch.
«"Together with the community's own contribution – four renovated rooms, a restroom, and a kitchen – today's two new rooms are a significant effort to help people who were left homeless and in need of shelter due to the war," emphasized Halyna Minaeva.
In addition, the parties agreed to further expand cooperation between the Chuhuiv community and UNHCR in the direction of housing for IDPs. Promising projects have already been discussed and potential locations for their implementation have been inspected.
The community leadership expresses sincere gratitude to the representatives of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the Angels of Salvation charity foundation for their important and effective support of the Chuhuiv community.
