One of the most important tasks of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance is the memorialization and preservation of the memory of all those who gave their lives defending our state in the modern war against Russian aggression.
Together with the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra National Reserve, a new project dedicated to women who died defending Ukraine has been launched.
These are military personnel, medics, volunteers - those who courageously and lovingly stood up to defend their native land and, unfortunately, did not return from the war.
The goal of the project is to preserve their stories, tell about their lives, dreams, values, and contribution to the common struggle, so that the memory of these women becomes an example of strength, dignity, and dedication for future generations.
If you know the stories of deceased women who performed combat or other tasks related to the defense of Ukraine from 2014 to the present, please join us in collecting materials.

Together we will preserve the memory of every Heroine.
Their names will live on in the hearts of Ukrainians - as symbols of courage and love for the Motherland.
