A new stage of support for defenders is starting in our community - the use of virtual reality (VR) in working with veterans.

Thanks to modern VR glasses, every veteran can now immerse themselves in a calm, safe, and supportive space where they can train their breathing, practice mindfulness, relaxation techniques, and restore emotional balance.

These technologies open up possibilities that only recently seemed like fantasy:

  • reducing stress and anxiety levels;
  • relief of PTSD symptoms;
  • return of a sense of inner security;
  • improving sleep, emotional state and concentration;
  • development of self-regulation skills.

For many veterans, VR therapy becomes a soft bridge between combat experience and peaceful life, where you can feel safe, regain strength, and learn to live again - calmly, consciously, in touch with yourself.

We are sincerely grateful to our partners from the Kharkiv Regional Council's Veteran Space "Side by Side" for their support, equipment transfer, and cooperation in implementing the "United for Recovery" initiative.

«"This is not just technology - it is an opportunity to touch a new format of caring for the mental health of our heroes. We are creating an environment where veterans not only receive help, but also feel that their life after service has meaning, development, and support," community experts note.

Together we build a space of trust, respect, and recovery.

Together - for the sake of the people who have already done everything possible for us.
