The Chuhuyiv community held a farewell ceremony for the Hero who gave his life defending Ukraine from Russian aggression – 35-year-old soldier Denys Volodymyrovych Bodnaryuk, deputy commander of the reconnaissance group.
The soldier died on September 24, 2025 while performing a combat mission near the village of Toretske, Pokrovsky district, Donetsk region, having shown courage and loyalty to his military oath.
The funeral of the fallen defender took place on October 6 in the village of Kochetok. During the farewell to Denis, words of deep gratitude for his devotion to the Motherland, sincere prayers and sorrow for the lost life, which became a symbol of love for Ukraine, were heard.
