Ukrainians are increasingly investing in their own professional development with the support of the Employment Service.

Since the beginning of 2025 alone, almost 24 thousand people have taken advantage of a voucher for free training from the Employment Service: they choose new professions, improve their qualifications, or master specialties in demand on the labor market.

The voucher is most often received by people aged 45 and older - they make up 69% of all voucher recipients. Internally displaced persons make up 22%, people with disabilities - 6%, and combatants - 3%.

The leaders in the number of issued study vouchers were Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhia regions.

Nursing, psychology, cook, social worker, and truck driver are the most popular professions/specialties that Ukrainians chose with vouchers this year.

With the voucher, you can improve your qualifications or undergo retraining in one of 156 professions and specialties at educational institutions licensed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The list of these is updated every three months on the department's website.

You can study both in higher education institutions and in vocational schools - in particular, in eight modern Vocational Education Centers of the Employment Service, which use innovative methods and emphasize practical skills in demand in the labor market.

The program is financed by the Fund of Compulsory State Social Insurance of Ukraine in case of unemployment.

The tuition fee is 30 thousand hryvnias.

To receive it, simply contact any employment center, submit an application online on the website of the State Employment Service, or use the mobile application. More information about the program can be found at the link:
