At the Territorial Center for Social Services (provision of social services), on the basis of the day care department, studios for the development of creative abilities are actively operating: "Needlework", "Chuguyev Ceramics", "Painting".
The products created by the hands of specialists and trainees in these studios are well known far beyond the Territorial Center.
Currently, some of the works are presented at an exhibition at the Image Cultural Center.
However, creative activity is a continuous process that requires constant development and renewal. It was with this purpose that a meeting of participants of creative studios took place, during which a master class on new artistic techniques was held.
The occasion for the meeting was the return to his hometown of experienced master Taras Shpak, who shared his author's techniques with the participants. From now on, Taras Tarasovych will cooperate with creative studios on a volunteer basis.
During the master class, the specialist introduced those present to new areas of work: dot painting (pointillism), as well as techniques for painting plaster and clay products with acrylic paints.
Both active studio participants and new students are invited to participate in the classes, with whom an experienced master will work individually, even without previous skills - "from scratch.".
In general, anyone who is of advanced age or disabled can join in the creative activity. Their works — picturesque canvases, elegant ceramic products, original handicrafts — continue the traditions of Chuguev folk art and inspire those around them with beauty and warmth of the soul.
