Every year, thousands of young people from the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) choose Ukrainian education. However, young people who remain in the TOT may not be aware of the procedure for leaving for Ukraine and enrolling in higher education institutions (HEIs). Today, Ukraine has simplified admission requirements for applicants from the temporarily occupied territories to Ukrainian HEIs.

For a young person who has left the temporarily occupied territory, upon entering a Ukrainian higher education institution, the following will be provided:

  • anonymity and support and assistance during the admission campaign;
  • accommodation in a student dormitory upon admission and during studies;
  • assistance in preparing all necessary Ukrainian documents;
  • monthly scholarship (social or academic upon successful completion of the curriculum).

Admission to a higher education institution is carried out on simplified terms:

  • External Independent Assessment (EIA) or National Multi-Subject Test (NMT) certificate – not required;
  • if there is no Ukrainian passport - a birth certificate is enough;
  • Submitting documents and taking entrance exams (in the form of an interview) is possible online.

Important! If you have friends or acquaintances living in the temporarily occupied territories, share information with them about the possibility of enrolling in Ukrainian higher education institutions.
