On July 4, residents of the Chuhuiv community, including employees of the city council and other organizations and institutions, took part in another blood donation campaign. The event was held in cooperation with the Kharkiv Regional Blood Service Center and aimed to replenish the reserves of donor blood for medical institutions in the region, which are in dire need of it in conditions of constant hostilities.
Both experienced donors and first-time donors joined the campaign, united around a common goal: to help those who need it most.
“"Donation is a simple but very effective way to save a life. We, as representatives of the local government, must be an example for the community," said Viktoria Rezanova, head of the city's health department, who, by the way, is an experienced donor herself.
The doctors thanked all the donors of our community for their active and regular participation in blood donation and emphasized that donated blood is always worth its weight in gold, especially in times of war.
Donors are calling on fellow countrymen whose health allows them to join the donor movement, because every donor is hope for those fighting for life.
