Since May 2025, Serhiy CHUPRYNA, a representative of the public organization "Phoenix +", began his cooperation as a volunteer with Chuhuivsky Regional Department No. 3 of the branch of the State Institution "Probation Center" in the Kharkiv region.
«The work of probation volunteers is of great social importance, because it gives a second chance to those who have fallen behind, helps them return to normal life, become full-fledged members of society, reduces the risk of re-offending, making the community safer,» says Serhiy. It is important to understand that volunteering in probation is a voluntary, unpaid activity aimed at supporting and assisting people who have committed crimes with the aim of their resocialization.

- Fill out a questionnaire at the authorized probation agency;
- Be interviewed by the head of the probation agency;
- Sign a contract;
- Discuss the responsibilities and tasks that a volunteer can be involved in;
- Undergo special training and instruction in safety techniques.
