A new stage of emergency work has begun on the Shopping Street, a building that not only has an interesting history, but is also a landmark of our city and has the status of a monument of national importance.
Recall that the ancient building was damaged as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in the summer of 2022.
In 2024, permission was received from the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine to carry out emergency emergency work on the monument. Last fall, only part of the roof damaged by time and war was repaired.
In order to preserve the cultural heritage site, protect it from further destruction, and eliminate the emergency, funds were allocated from the city budget for urgent current repairs of the entire roof.
