In order to prevent rabies in pets, specialists of the Chuguiv District Veterinary Medicine Department of the Kharkiv Regional State Hospital of Veterinary Medicine will conduct preventive vaccinations of dogs and cats against rabies in the city of Chuguiv from 06/17/2025 to 06/20/2025, 06/23/2025 at the address: Oleksandra Zachepyla St., 15, tel. (05746) 2-21-16. Working hours: Mon-Thu from 8:00 to 16:45, Fri from 8:00 to 15:45, Sat-Sun - weekends.
Preventive vaccination will protect the animal from rabies infection for 1 year.
We emphasize! Rabies is an extremely dangerous infectious disease common to humans and animals, accompanied by severe damage to the central nervous system and always ends in death.
To prevent rabies in animals, all pets must be vaccinated annually, starting at 3 months of age.
Remember: rabies cannot be cured, it can only be prevented! The most effective way is vaccination!
The rabies vaccine is free, the cost of the preventive vaccination service is 11.05 UAH.
Rabies vaccination can be done anywhere; Ukraine has an extensive network of both private licensed and state institutions.
But it is in a state institution that there is an opportunity to use a free rabies vaccine.
Vaccination should be done annually.
