Address by Galina Minaeva on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day

Dear blood donors!

Today, on World Blood Donor Day, I address each of you with a special thank you and appeal.

In these difficult times, when our country is defending its independence, blood donation takes on a special meaning. Every drop of blood you donate becomes a life-saving medicine for our defenders on the front lines, rescuers who risk their lives every day for our safety, and civilians suffering from enemy missile attacks.

Your willingness to share your most precious thing – your blood – is a manifestation of true patriotism and humanity. Thanks to your generosity, medical professionals have the opportunity to save the lives of those who need help the most.

I am proud of the residents of our community who are blood donors. This year, Tetyana Baranyuk (pictured) and Tetyana Vyugova (pictured) received the title of Honorary Donor of Ukraine, and Anatoliy Cheglikov received the title of Honored Donor of Ukraine (122 donations)! A low bow to you for your good deed.

Every donor is a hero without weapons, but with a big heart. Your contribution to victory is invaluable.

I urge everyone who has the opportunity to join the donor movement. Come to our blood transfusion centers, become regular donors. Your blood is life for those who fight for our freedom!

Remember: donating blood means saving a life!

Thank you very much to all donors for your noble act!

Щиро дякую всім донорам за ваш благородний вчинок!
