Attention facility managers!
According to paragraph 10 of the Procedure for monitoring and assessing the degree of barrier-freeness of physical environment objects and services for persons with disabilities, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated May 26, 2021 No. 537 (as amended by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated March 18, 2025 No. 311), (hereinafter referred to as the Procedure), facility managers: – determine the person responsible for assessing the degree of barrier-freeness; – conduct an annual assessment of the degree of barrier-freeness of facilities specified in the list of types of physical environment objects subject to assessment of the degree of barrier-freeness compiled by the Ministry of Development; – take photographs of the accessibility elements of the surveyed physical environment object; – submit information on the assessment of the degree of barrier-free access to local authorities on electronic and paper media using established forms every year by September 15.
In accordance with paragraph 11 of the Procedure, facility managers must conduct an inspection and assessment of the building (premises) and submit until August 15, 2024 to the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture of the Chuguiv City Council, information in the form according to the appendix on electronic and paper media. Appendix 1
Types of facilities subject to accessibility monitoring in 2025
In accordance with paragraph 8 of the Procedure for monitoring and assessing the degree of barrier-freeness of physical environment facilities and services for persons with disabilities, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated May 26, 2021 No. 537, (hereinafter referred to as the Procedure), the Ministry of Development, based on proposals from public organizations and the list of Performance Indicators for the implementation of the National Strategy for Creating a Barrier-Free Space in Ukraine for the period until 2030, has identified the following types of facilities:
