The Chuhuiv community is consistently working to improve the quality of social services. Recently, community specialists took part in an online consultation on systems for monitoring and assessing the quality of social services, organized within the framework of the project "Minimum Package of Integrated Social Services for Families with Children". The consultation was conducted by Iryna Mashtal, an expert on the organization of social services.
The focus of the discussion was external evaluation, which involves involving community residents in analyzing the quality of services. Community experts discussed:
- how to involve people in the process through QR codes, online surveys and public invitations;
- how to clearly and openly communicate the purpose, timeline, and format of the evaluation;
- how to use the results to improve services.
Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of ensuring that services meet not only formal standards, but also people's expectations and needs.
Regular external evaluation is a signal of openness to change and the community's willingness to work for development. Even in the absence of a legislative obligation, the Chuguiv community implements self-analysis tools, which indicates the maturity of management decisions and orientation to the needs of residents.
The consultation was conducted within the framework of the project "Minimum Package of Integrated Social Services for Families with Children", which is implemented with the support of UNICEF Ukraine and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development through KfW. Implementers: Ukrainian Network for Child Rights, SOS Children's Villages Ukraine, NGO "Social Synergy", Ukrainian Educational Platform.
