Mercy Corps, an international humanitarian organization, with the support of the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, has launched the Ukraine Agriculture Support Program. The goal of this program is to help local families affected by the war, those displaced by the war, as well as farmers and businesses closely related to agriculture, to restore agricultural activities and overcome the consequences of the war.
The program is implemented in the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson and Chernihiv regions (except for areas where active hostilities are ongoing, as well as areas with limited access or high risk to life and business activities) together with partner organizations.
